It took almost 30 days and there were only 2 days off in this entire time and they were not back to back so that you could see any of the sites. Weekends were consumed and there was no time to go home during this month. Training was from until or later every night in uncomfortable conference chairs in cramped space.
Then on the job onsite audit training which is watching overworked and overburdened auditors struggle to get their assignments done. These auditors do not have enough time to train the trainee auditors.
Auditors complain about not having enough time to eat or go to the bathroom because of the workload. You are expected to remember everything you've ever seen and be able to recall this. The work life balance is abhorrent. Expectations for auditors are unrealistic and there is no such thing as positive reinforcement from management. It's always how behind you are or how they can't believe you don't remember what was on that one slide that someone read to you over a year ago.
Resources are limited and everyone is new and doesn't know what they are doing either. The people that do know what they are doing are so swamped they can't help anyone else. The turnover so frequent because of these conditions. Managers were verbally abusive. Employees were completely overwhelmed with volume of work. No resources or tools other than antiquated software.
